Okay, just last week I had been complaining how I never get new things to talk about with Tom and today, over on AfterElton.com, he was named the second Sexiest Sci-Fi Hunk on TV! Maybe I should openly complain about not getting a lot of new Tom-related stuff to talk about more often...

Take a look at the list over HERE and look at the competition he beat out. Pretty impressive that Tom came in second in front of the other men on that list, but if you ask me (and I'm sure a lot of you would agree) he should have been ranked #1. However, coming in second is better than coming in third so I won't complain too much...

Oh, and over on CWTV.com they have the new director's cut up. It is very Clark-centric, but very spoilery since a certain new cast member makes an appearance.

I must say I am not too happy with the new player The CW has on their site now. I had some issues with the sound being too quiet and you also get network promo spots before each clip. However, as long as you don't mind that kind of thing, I say go take a look HERE and scroll down a bit for the link to the clip.

Entertainment Weekly wants to know what the fans think!

In their PopWatch blog they ask for people to post their ideas on casting choices for the upcoming Justice League film. Of course they do mention Tom by name, so word is getting around about the possiblity of him being in the movie. I know for a fact that he would be terrific, especially after tonight's awesome episode, but maybe the Warner Brother powers-that-be could use some testimonials....

If you want him to wear the tights on the big screen, let them know your thoughts on the matter over HERE...

You know, I always got my work cut out for me when I try to come up with news about Tom Welling. The man just seeminly disasppears over the summer until it's time for him to start working again...

It can make the summer hiatus especially hard on his fans. Well, it has for me anyway. No news on the Justice League front. Just more rumor and speculation based on off-the-cuff statements by this person or that online... It can drive a Tom Welling fan simply crazy, so it is about time I finally had something new to talk about!!

As most Tom Welling fans are aware, Smallville starts its 7th (and maybe final) season this week. As they like to do, CWTV.com has (finally) put out Director's cuts. While most of those last season were decidedly Clark- (and Tom-) light, these clips are very Clark- and Bizarro-, centric.

Take a look here and click on the "Director's Cut" tab to see the clips, but keep in mind the effects in the first one are very rough and the content of both are very spoilery. Despite my new spoiler-phobic ways, I couldn't resist seeing these when I heard about them.

You know, I'm a bit stressed. Although I have a strong feeling that it's doing the right thing, but going mostly spoiler free is stressing me out on top of a not so great job that I have in real life.

So, it's especially heart warming to see people Tom work with say extremely nice things about him. Allison had this to say about Tom in her blog this week:

Tom Welling said something beautifully enlightening to me the other day at work. He said, “In the end, Allison, it is everything and it is nothing. It is all just for the experience,” and at that moment, on the Kent Farm, with a man dressed in a silver body-suit flying behind us, I really understood what he was saying to me. And… started laughing!

I think I really needed to read that. Tom's not only good looking and talented but he's smart on top of all that. I'm glad that it's not only his fans that recognize that, but also his co-workers.

I have been trying something different this year and been avoiding spoilers for the upcoming season. Because of that I haven't really heard much about the upcoming season. However, what I have heard hasn't made me all that excited.

Well, JC over on svfan.com has uploaded a new general trailer that has changed that! After watching this trailer, I'm thrilled about the upcoming season, which opens in only two weeks.

With his kind permission, I have the link for you. It's high quality and Clark is figures prominently in it. Tom is looking very Supermanly, by the way, with his new, shorter hair cut.
