Screen Captures From 'Static'

Huh. I'm really not entirely sure what to say about last night's episode of Smallville, 'Static', from which I've just posted a very disappointing number (only 270) of screen captures.
I now understand what Maria was getting at in her comment in response to my last news post. Tom was only in last night's episode for about ten minutes, if that, and the ballyhooed showdown between Clark and Batista's character was a distinctly damp squib. I know that Tom was busy preparing for 'Hydro' during the filming of this episode, and there's no doubt that Tom deserves a less hectic schedule. Still, there's no excuse for only giving your show's star around half a dozen short scenes.
This was probably my least favourite episode of the season so far, for numerous reasons. Forgetting the distinct lack of Tom in the episode, I just found it all very ... odd, I suppose is the word. Very disappointing.

Who was the creature that left the Oreo there? He's so strong that he killed the zoner with just one shot - and what's happening to the Green Arrow, I want to see him more.

As I said in the forum, any resemblance to the previous 5 seasons is all in your imagination! Does anyone need that many roses?

Really? I disagree, I thought this was a very intriguing episode, and even though Tom was not in it much, I really enjoyed it.

Oh yes, I found it very disappointing as well. No screen time for Tom, and the whole Lex and Lana relationship is just crazy and in awful taste. Anyways, thanks for the caps!

I agree, I saw a few extracts on the 'net and I am disappointed. But I can't wait to see Tom directing again in 'Hydro' and having a more important role in upcoming episodes.

I am in total agreement. I'm a Tom Welling fan foremost, so with the lack of him in this episode, and many more this season, I was in total disappointment. This episode was advertised as something that would be dominated by Clark. I don't know what happened this season, but without Tom Welling (IMO) this show isn't worth watching. The lack of the lead character in his own series makes me question what in the world these people are smoking!?
