I was actually going to wait even longer to post these (I've had them for a few weeks and had forgotten about them) because I felt it might be unwise to go straight from the dressed-up, dapper Tom in the new Smallville images, to ye olde Tom in his summer time Grizzly Adams phase ...
Still, I decided to go for broke and post these images of Tom throwing the first pitch at Fenway Park, on June 29th, primarily because I have a strange compulsion to make the most of the compare-and-contrast opportunity. As if I don't know what most people are going to say, which do you prefer: this, or this? Jamie, who is with Tom in the first of the six new images, probably doesn't care either way, and for the most part I tend to agree. But only for the most part. Man in black is good. Man in beard is iffy.

Thank you, Jana, for the great Fenway pics of Tom, and thanks James for posting them! I love seeing Tom in candid photos. It's nice to know there were more pics taken of him when he was there.

While Tom is a little creepy with the hoboesque head of hair/beard, he looks so angry in the new promo pictures that it's hard to say which I like better.

If I were Clark I'd be pretty upset that my dad had died, my mum was hooking up with the evil guy, and my former best friend was slobbering over my ex-girlfriend ... I'd say he has a lot of reasons to be angry! lol

I just have to say that I love Tom scruffy, shaved, or however else! Beard or no beard he will always be gorgeous.
