Tom Throws First Pitch At Red Sox Game

I've been away for a few days and have literally just got back to a usable computer; but luckily I've only missed one "big" news story about Tom since last Wednesday - and it's definitely a good one!
Last Thursday, June 29th, Tom threw the first pitch for a Boston Red Sox vs. New York Mets – baseball, if you're of the not-very-sporty persuasion – game at Fenway Park, according to the Boston Herald:
There don't seem to be that many photos from the event, at least for now, but the four images that I've found so far (including one that accompanied the Boston Herald article) are now posted in the media gallery. Hopefully that's good enough for the time being.Smallville star Tom Welling – with all his Superman strength – tossed out the first pitch at Fenway Park last night. Tom, who got married on Martha's Vineyard four summers ago, is in town with his best bud, Lexington homey – and Spyglass Entertainment veep – Derek Evans, who is a big Red Sox fan. Post-game the boys were expected to repair to a private box at Game On!
I'll be sure to find out what other news I've missed in the next day or two, when I've had a chance to get my bearings back! If you spot something that you think I should know about, please contact me.

Sweet! Don't forget about Tom and Jamie's wedding anniversary on the 5th - I definitely won't since it is also my birthday!

Alexxis, unfortunately large, high quality images use more disk space and bandwidth. For various reasons it's easier and cheaper for me to keep them fairly small.
Most of the time, if I have a fairly large copy of an image (for instance the Smallville stills and promo images) I'll post it at the biggest size that I think is "safe". In the case of other images, including those linked to in this post, I just post them at the largest size I have.

Thanks, I was just wondering. I love the images, big or small, and I'm glad that you have a media section because that officially makes you the best Tom site on the web. You guys are doing an awesome job, so thanks.

I love me some Tom, but the homeless look has to go; summer time or not. If he wants to land more roles, he needs to look the part when having his picture taken.

It's great to see Tom out having a good time and enjoying a well earned summer break. I'll bet it was a real thrill for him to make that pitch! And I imagine it's a treat to be able to go somewhere and literally let your hair down after the strenuous regimen of the filming year. Let the guy grow a beard and have some fun! He deserves it!
