Smallville Season Finale Tonight!

The season five finale of Smallville, 'Vessel', airs tonight. As always with Smallville's season finales, this is certain to be a huge episode packed with budget-busting action and special effects, along with loud noises that cause me to switch off the audio!
What predicament will our (sometimes) beloved characters find themselves in, and more importantly, how will Clark ultimately deal with it? The questions are the same every year; the answers, not so much ...
As you wait for 'Vessel' to air, why not take another look at the trailers and preview clips, and the official stills from the episode; it's not much, but it may help to tide you over for the next few hours.
And once the episode is over, as always I would love to know what everyone thought! You can leave your thoughts either over on the message board, or down in the comments.

I loved 'Vessel'. I thought it was intense and set up some really intriguing dilemmas and showdowns for next season. I was screaming "No!" at the end because I didn't want it to be over. It's good to see more of the Superman mythology in the show, and the relationships should also be very interesting to watch next season.
Take a break James. You deserve it!

It was a great episode, although many people thought it was too predictable.
I loved it when Chloe kissed Clark, and I can't wait until next year to see how Clark gets out of the Phantom Zone. He looked so terrified ... you can't help feeling sorry for him. Tom's face was so expressive!

This episode was great! I didn't want it to end because I don't know if I can wait until next season.
