Yet More Recycled Tom Quotes
Tue February 28th 2006 @ 8:15AM - Cindy - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
As it's a slow news week I thought I'd post this news item about a "new" interview with Tom Welling and John Schneider from Sci-Fi.com.
The article is basically just recycled comments that Tom made a while back at the Television Critics Association press tour, so if you keep up with this site at all you've probably already read most of what he had to say. Still, since it's a longer piece than most I thought it might be nice for everyone to see all of Tom's quotes in one convenient location.
Some More 'Reckoning' Stills
Sun February 26th 2006 @ 12:54AM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
Exactly one month after the episode aired on January 26th, here are five more stills from Smallville's 100th episode, 'Reckoning'. I wonder if Warner Bros. decided to release a few more images to make up for the whole edited-out-scene debacle?! Whatever their reasoning, I'm not going to complain; okay, one complaint: the lighting in the fifth picture isn't flattering. But aside from that, no complaints.
Theoretically I'm still in the midst of a break from "site bizniss", but who am I to keep the stills to myself?!
More Nice Comments About Tom
Sat February 25th 2006 @ 11:28PM - James - Tom Welling - 6 Comments
Both nice and unfortunate comments, if the truth be told. In an interview with Glen Winter –- who earned his director's stripes on 'Cyborg', in addition to his usual post as Smallville's director of photography –- over at the French website Planete Smallville (the interview is in French, so Babel Fish may be your friend), Glen has some nice things to say about working with Tom; however he also mentions that during the filming of 'Cyborg', Tom fell quite seriously ill for the first time in five years of shooting the show:
Glen also mentions the usual things, such as Tom working longer hours than the rest of the cast, and still being the same person he was when the show started five years ago. However, of particular interest to me is that as Smallville's director of photography, Glen notes that his very next task after completing 'Cyborg' was helping Tom to prepare for his own directorial debut. I hope it doesn't become a tradition for the Smallville cast and crew to fall ill during a novice director's first outing; that wouldn't be good for morale."During the filming of 'Cyborg', Tom Welling fell sick for the first time in five years and we had to stop filming for four days. Because Tom couldn't work we all had four days off. Tom felt very bad about being sick for the first time in five seasons while I shot my first episode, and I had to say to him: 'Don't worry about it, it's important that you get better.'"
Thanks for the link Valérie!
Quick News Round Up
Fri February 24th 2006 @ 5:33AM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
As expected, there hasn't been much worth mentioning over the last few days. Lucky me! But off the top of my head, here are a couple of things:
Over at TV Guide Online, Michael Ausiello's latest column contains a few spoilers for 'Fragile', as well as all but confirming that this episode is the one Tom Welling directed. Not that it's really "news", as Craig and myself mentioned it way back on February 4th. Still, it's nice to know that we weren't just blowing smoke.
In relatively good news for Tom's fans over here in the UK, The Fog is finally released in cinemas today; the reviews for the film were no better over here than they were across the pond, unfortunately, but don't let that scare you. Although it may be the only thing about the film that does scare you ... oops, that was mean. I'm only kidding, your direction was wonderful Mr. Wainwright! And I dare say a lot of us over here have already bought the Region 1 DVD anyway; still, go to the cinema and show Tom some love.
Now back to my break.
Break Time Again
Tue February 21st 2006 @ 12:14AM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
With no more new Smallville episodes until March 30th, and with no hiatus movie projects for Tom yet confirmed, it seems like the next few weeks may (Emphasis on "may". Knowing my luck there'll be something big to talk about as soon as I've finished typing this!) be fairly quiet on the news front. So I'm going to take this opportunity to take a short break, and give myself a little more time to plug away on that update to TomWelling.org that I've been talking about for months.
The new site –- if I ever finish it –- is going to be packed with new content and features, and it should be well worth waiting for.
Modelling Trivia Time
Sat February 18th 2006 @ 11:41PM - James - Tom Welling - 10 Comments
There's one particular question about Tom's time as a model that I'm frequently asked, and it's a question that I receive so often that I thought it would be a good idea to answer it here: How old was Tom when he started modelling? Most of the time you'll read or hear that he was 21 when he was approached, and even Tom himself has said that's how old he was; so why do I always go against the grain and say that he was 20?
Tom's first modelling job was for the Christmas 1997 edition of Abercrombie & Fitch Quarterly (pictures to your left), with the shoot taking place during the spring/summer of 1997. If Tom was really born in April 1977 there's no way he could have been 21 in 1997; for that to be possible he would have to be a year older than he claims to be! Granted, celebrities aren't exactly known for being honest about their age ...
Moreover, he was approached by the model scout in the spring: if he was approached before April 26th he would have only been 19!
So there's the answer as to why I like to be disagreeable. Either Tom was under 21, or I'll eat my sweater. I should probably add this to the FAQ.
'Cyborg' Screen Captures
Fri February 17th 2006 @ 10:03AM - James - Tom Welling - 4 Comments
Wow, I thought this one was a great episode. I especially thought Tom was a lot more "on" than he has been on some occasions recently; that may have something to do with 'Cyborg' having been the first episode filmed after Smallville came back from its holiday production break. The cast and crew will have had some –- probably not enough –- time to rest, and that really showed.
So to the good stuff! Here are 529 screen captures from last night's "fresh" episode of Smallville. It's great that the show ended this all too short group of episodes with such an intriguing cliffhanger (I won't say what it was), though I'd like to have a word with the bright spark who decided to make it six weeks until we see a new episode.
'Cyborg' Runs on to Screens
Thu February 16th 2006 @ 5:35PM - James - Tom Welling - 5 Comments
Tonight's episode of Smallville, which is entitled 'Cyborg', will be the last new episode to air until the end of March; that's around six weeks of reruns until we get to see 'Hypnotic'! So here's hoping that this run ends on a high note, and that 'Cyborg' isn't painful to watch.
Over at TV.com there is a preview for the episode; Tom Welling isn't featured in the clip, but fans of Michael Rosenbaum will be happy. Luckily there are a couple of episode stills that you can view featuring Tom, so it's not all bad.
As always, when the episode is over why not discuss it down in the comments or over on the forum; I always enjoy seeing what people think of the episodes, even when it's not all good!
Pre-Order Cheaper By The Dozen 2 on DVD
Thu February 16th 2006 @ 5:17AM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
Amazon has added Cheaper By The Dozen 2 to its catalogue for pre-order on Region 1 and Region 2 DVD.
The date listed for the Region 1 release is May 23rd, which is massively different to the mid-March release date that has been listed everywhere else, including here on TomWelling.org a few days ago; here we go with another conundrum. Regardless, here's the link to buy that one.
Meanwhile the Region 2 version has a scheduled released date of April 3rd, which sounds about right if the Region 1 copy drops onto store shelves in March. We're usually a few weeks behind the US over here, unfortunately. Here's the link to order that one.
Image Campaign 2006 Images
Wed February 15th 2006 @ 4:34PM - James - Tom Welling - 14 Comments
Craig has just posted up the first handful of promotional images for season five of Smallville, taken from the 2006 Image Campaign. They include three great new shots of Tom, along with a couple of pictures of Kristin Kreuk and James Marsters. The images of Tom appear to have been taken during the shoot for Smallville's new opening credits; I must admit that I haven't paid enough attention to Kristin's opening credit to know if her images are also taken from there. My bad.
I think I'm going to write and ask where I can get a wall covering like the one they put behind Tom; that thing is amazing. Seriously, I want one.
Tom Nominated for a Saturn Award
Wed February 15th 2006 @ 8:40AM - Cindy - Tom Welling - 6 Comments
In a strong showing for Smallville, which garnered seven nominations (tying the Sci-Fi Channel's Battlestar Galactica for most nods), the Saturn Award nominations were announced early today. The Saturn Awards were created to recognize excellence in genre film making so it will probably come as no surprise to his fans that Tom has been nominated in the Lead Actor category for his role on Smallville.
Given his strong performances in the past year, here's hoping Tom will win! I know it's a long shot, as many of the other nominees are from far more popular or critically acclaimed shows, but he deserves to win because of all the hard work he's put in this past year.
Other Smallville cast members also got nominations. Kristin Kreuk was nominated for Best Actress, while Michael Rosenbaum, Erica Durance and Allison Mack all received nods in the supporting acting categories; Michael previously won for Best Supporting Actor in 2002. The show also received nominations for Best Network Series and Best TV Series DVD Release (for the 4th Season set).

Wish Mark a Happy Birthday!
Tue February 14th 2006 @ 1:56AM - James - Mark Welling - 10 Comments
I was tempted to use the old chestnut about birthday's going the way of the dinosaurs, and then segue into an aside about how that doesn't mean they'll end up in a Michael Crichton novel. I decided not to do that. Instead I'm going to say something relatively normal, for once.
I'd like to wish Mark a really Happy 26th Birthday (Valentine's Day should always be easy to remember), and I'd like to offer everyone the opportunity to leave their own messages for him down in the comments. With luck I might even be able to get your messages to Mark, although I can't promise anything. I'm also hoping that we'll all finally get to see Mark in Wrestling and Circling Serita fairly soon, so keep those fingers and toes crossed!
This may be the start of a new tradition, assuming two things: firstly, that this site is in existence long enough for it to qualify as a tradition; secondly, that nobody contacts me to tell me that Mark hates birthdays, and that I should be slapped for mentioning it.
Disappointing News
Mon February 13th 2006 @ 4:51PM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
Back in January I mentioned that Cosmopolitan would be holding their "Fun Fearless Males" award party this month, and at the time of writing that article Tom was pencilled in to attend. The event is going to be held tonight, in Los Angeles, and I've just been given the disappointing news that Tom is unlikely to attend after all. When the plans for the awards party were made, nobody could have anticipated that it would clash with the preparation for Tom's directorial debut on Smallville's 18th episode of this season, 'Fragile'. Something had to give, and unsurprisingly Tom's time behind the camera wasn't it.
This was a very last-minute change of plans, and I'm just as disappointed as everyone else is likely to be. My only consolation is that we'll get to see the reason for the cancellation, in all its glory, within the next few of months.
Five Years of Smallville
Sat February 11th 2006 @ 4:50PM - James - Tom Welling - 3 Comments
As it's five years (not quite to the day, but also not very far off) since Smallville's Pilot began shooting back in the spring of 2001, Craig has posted some really nice behind-the-scenes shots of Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, and some of Smallville's crew members over at KryptonSite. These pictures have never been posted online, so they're really nice to see. And as Craig so rightly notes, they all look so young!
I may as well join the party. The picture I've posted is more of a "behind-the-scenes in the scene" picture, but hey, it's close enough for me. We never saw those jogging pants in the episode! Though they do beg the question of why Tom's legs were tied to the post when he's clearly being shot from the waist up.
Vote for Tom at Access Hollywood
Sat February 11th 2006 @ 10:40AM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
Yikes! Tom is stuck near the bottom of a poll on Access Hollywood right now with only 3% of the vote. Um, vote for him? Please? There's no love for Tom on these polls lately. Gather the troops and save him from the tragedy (or is that tragi-comedy?) of losing!
Not that I think he'll care if he loses, but still. It's the thought that counts.
ETA: The poll is now over, and Tom came second with 19% of the vote. Prison Break's Wentworth Miller won with 41%!
'Cyborg' Trailer Online
Sat February 11th 2006 @ 9:08AM - Cindy - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
If you would like to see the trailer for the upcoming episode of Smallville, take a look here.
I didn't like 'Tomb' as much as some other people did, so I'm looking forward to this one. More so because one of Smallville's Directors of Photography, Glen Winter (DP for some of the better-looking episodes like last week's 'Vengeance' and the third season's 'Memoria'), will be making his directorial debut with 'Cyborg'.
It will no doubt be a beautifully shot episode, if nothing else ...
'Tomb' Screen Captures
Fri February 10th 2006 @ 5:40PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
Aha, finally! I finally got the chance to cap yesterday's episode of Smallville, 'Tomb'. This one featured Chloe very heavily, and because of that Tom wasn't on the screen quite as much as he has been in the past two weeks; nonetheless, I managed to squeeze out 419 screen caps from the episode. And the scenes Tom did feature in were pretty good, so there are no complaints from this critic.
I know that 'Tomb' wasn't the best episode the crew have ever produced, but I found it to be an interesting change of pace. And there was no Acuvue!
Cheaper By The Dozen 2 DVD Release
Thu February 9th 2006 @ 9:02PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
20th Century Fox has just released details for the Region 1 (USA) and Region 2 (UK) DVD releases of Cheaper By The Dozen 2. The image to the left is a preview of the basic design for the Region 1 DVD's box cover, subject to possible change. The releases will be available in anamorphic widescreen format with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio; unfortunately no details have been released yet about the extras that will be on the DVD.
The Region 1 version is scheduled for release on March 14th (some reports have also said March 7th), with the Region 2 release following on April 3rd or 10th, depending on where you look.
Tom Interviewed In SFX
Thu February 9th 2006 @ 8:10PM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
An interview with Tom, conducted on the Smallville set last October during the filming of 'Splinter', is featured in the March 2006 edition of SFX magazine. The episodes that Tom speaks about will be airing on British television during the next few weeks, which makes sense since the magazine is published in the UK ...
For those in the US this will all be old news, but some of the quotes are still fun. Personally, I especially like the way the article sets the scene:
Thomasina Gibson always conducts great interviews; I want her job."Tom Welling has been hard at work for hours, trudging up and down the steps of the Kent barn. He wraps a particularly tense scene with Professor Milton Fine before he bounds down the steps (again!) and we follow as he lopes off to his screen mum's living room, where he stretches out his long, long legs and plants his feet on her coffee table."
Stick Me In a 'Tomb'!
Thu February 9th 2006 @ 4:36PM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
I think being stuck in a tomb would be sure to give me some rest, no? Likewise, the unfortunates' in tonight's fresh new episode of Smallville will also be having enormous amounts of fun inside their new home; it may be a bit dusty, and lacking in amenities, but I hear it's really quite cozy.
Unfortunately there haven't been any stills released from this episode – I'm hoping there may be a few once the episode has aired, but that's not guaranteed – however Craig has some screen caps from the trailer over at KryptonSite. You can view the trailer over at the WB, and lest I forget, you can still view a preview clip over at TV.com. I'll also be taking the usual screen captures tomorrow, although those may be a little later than usual as I'm still pretty busy.
Hopefully everyone will enjoy this episode, and once you've seen it why not leave your comments about it over on the message board or in the comments below. Love or hate? That is the question.
Hearts and Flowers
Thu February 9th 2006 @ 12:32AM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
How incredibly sweet ... and more than a touch nauseating for the old-before-their-time curmudgeonly folk of this world. Not that I think I'm curmudgeonly; Cindy does, but I have it on good authority that she's wrong.
However, to the point. It's almost Valentine's Day! Which happens, by the bye, to be Mark Welling's birthday, but that's yet another digression from the point. I promise I'll get there. So anyway, the WB affiliate stations are running a fun little poll to see which of the WB's characters you'd most like to go on a Valentine's Day date with: here's the link on KTLA. There weren't any pictures from Smallville in the Valentine's photo gallery when I first posted this, but a few have since been added at the end of the gallery.
Super sekrit subliminal message: Vote for Clark, Lorelai and Dean! I like 'em feisty ... or dopey, depending on the character in question.
Tom in Olympic Coverage
Tue February 7th 2006 @ 7:23PM - Cindy - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
Okay, okay ... I know what you're thinking: There's no way Tom is at the Olympics, 8,000 miles from Vancouver. After all, he's a busy guy and wouldn't have time to ditch out to Turin to see mad men go downhill at 60 miles an hour, or tiny girls perform miracles of motion on the ice. But, as odd as it may sound, he still got a mention in some Olympic coverage.
A New York Daily News columnist, Filip Bondy, has a diary about his trek to Turin to, well, see maniacs go downhill at insane and body busting speeds. It turns out that Bondy's compatriot had booked the reporters into a hotel closer to France than to the Turin Olympic events. So Filip, being an overly-resourceful reporter, managed to book himself into a room at an apartment. The apartment's owner, Antonio, arrived and showed Filip to his room: A room normally occupied by his 13-year-old daughter, Sonia.
It turns out that Sonia has a "half-naked" poster of Tom Welling on her wall. Good girl. I know that if I had a half naked image of Tom Welling it would certainly go on my wall, but I doubt I would have a reporter from the New York Daily News write about it. Okay, so I do have some shirtless images of Tom that I would love to put up on my wall (Or do shirtless pictures really qualify as 'half-naked'?) but I don't think my husband would be as understanding as Sonia's father, so I'll restrain myself.
More About Die Hard 4
Tue February 7th 2006 @ 1:41PM - James - Tom Welling - 2 Comments
I've done some digging, and I can now tell everyone that ... drum roll please ... I'm still stumped. Go me!
Yesterday's rumour about Tom starring in Die Hard 4 as John McClane Jr. is, from the very small amount that I've been able to find out, exactly that: just a rumour. As both Justin Timberlake and Ben Affleck, along with numerous others, have previously been rumoured for the role, it's impossible to say if there's any truth to it. Perhaps more to the point, there hasn't even been any confirmation that the movie will be made at all in the near future; Die Hard 4 has been in pre-production limbo for well over five years already, and recent script problems may mean further delays on top of that! This could be nothing more than a rumour based on wishful thinking from fans or journalists, or it may be something that has been quietly ticking away for quite some time.
If nothing else, the scenario isn't lacking plausibility. Both Bruce and Tom are good friends with Ashton Kutcher, and they've all been together –- generally at private parties that weren't caught on camera, more's the pity – a few times; it wouldn't surprise me to find out that Bruce and Tom are well-acquainted. So at the very least, this is a rumour that stands a pretty good chance of having some semblance of truth to it - even if that truth has become warped in the retelling.
However, on a personal note: if the rumour does end up having any truth to it, and scheduling allows, I think Messrs Willis and Welling should definitely make the movie. This here Die Hard fan would be heard to yell a very loud chorus of "Yippee-kay-ay, lazy-trucker!" if it were to happen. I'm not too proud to embarrass myself.
'Tomb' Preview Clip
Mon February 6th 2006 @ 9:05PM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
I do wish Warner Bros. would build more of a pattern for which sites they're going to pass these previews along to. It's a pain to keep track! This time around, TV.com is the lucky recipient of a preview for this Thursday's brand new episode of Smallville, 'Tomb'. The clip features Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum, hanging around the hospital corridors for what must be the umpteenth time. But who's the sick Smallvillian this time around? Nope, I'm not saying ...
I'm going to be busy this week, so updates may be a little later than usual; but don't worry, I'll still do my best to keep track of everything that's going on. Better late than never, right?
Other Movie News
Mon February 6th 2006 @ 8:50PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
I thought that the little rumour from earlier today would make this a good time to give some updates on Tom's other recent movies.
In great news for Tom's leading man debut, The Fog, which was released on DVD on January 24th, placed second on the DVD sales chart for the week ending January 29th; Flightplan, starring Jodie Foster, flew (heh) into first. In the rental charts, The Fog placed fourth with a total revenue of $7.2 million.
Meanwhile, Cheaper By The Dozen 2 has grossed $80.4 million after just under seven weeks in release. Worldwide sales have so far amounted to almost $37.5 million. Not too shabby.
Tom to Co-Star in Die Hard 4?
Mon February 6th 2006 @ 5:20PM - James - Tom Welling - 4 Comments
A rumour seems to be making the rounds right now about the possiblity of Tom appearing alongside Bruce Willis in Die Hard 4; the rumour originated on MovieTome, and I first found out about it earlier today. I was hesitant to mention it because, at least for the time being, I can't find any evidence to suggest that this is true; it may be, but I would advise people not to get their hopes up just yet.
This has either been a very well-kept secret, or there's legitimately nothing to find. At this point I just can't say for sure. Perhaps tellingly, a lot of the cast members who are listed on MovieTome appear to be nothing more than wishful thinking from fans; back in 2003, professional designer Anthony D'Angio created a mock Die Hard 4 one-sheet, which listed Jamie Bell, Viggo Mortensen, and Patrick Stewart as cast members. No other outlets have suggested those actors as cast members, yet shortly after the poster was "rediscovered" by forum members at IMDb a couple of weeks ago, those three names suddenly appeared on MovieTome. It may be nothing more than a crazy coincidence; then again, who knows. Perhaps Anthony has a gift for foreshadowing?!
So what does this have to do with Tom? Possibly nothing, or possibly everything. For now we'll all have to sit and twiddle our thumbs, waiting for possible confirmation.
Thanks to everyone who sent this information to me in the last few hours. I wish I could give some slightly more positive news; I'll keep digging.
One More for 'Cyborg'
Sat February 4th 2006 @ 2:38PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
The WB has released one more still of Tom Welling from 'Cyborg', the new episode of Smallville that airs on February 16th. He's running! And wearing a red jacket! Under bright lights!
And he's wearing heavy make-up again; gotta love a man who's comfortable looking like a porcelain dolly. Or one of the Thunderbirds.
Tom Welling: Director
Sat February 4th 2006 @ 12:13PM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
After a little chit-chat with Craig, it looks like the episode in which Tom will make his directorial debut is no longer such a big secret: although not confirmed, the episode looks likely to be episode #5.18, otherwise known as 'Fragile'.
The episode is currently in pre-production and should begin filming very soon. Spoilers for the episode can be found on the KryptonSite Spoilers page.
'Vengeance' Screen Captures
Fri February 3rd 2006 @ 11:15AM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
That time of the week again. I've just uploaded over 750 screen caps from last night's new episode of Smallville, 'Vengeance'. Luckily this was another episode where Tom was featured very heavily, just as I'd expected.
And I have a pet theory: I don't believe "Andrea's" story about getting her powers from the meteor shower for one moment; I think it was the "Power Of The Acuvue"! She was back to normal every time she put her glasses back on, so it stands to reason. Although on a more serious note, you've gotta love product placement. Especially when it smacks you straight in the eye.
I'm heading off to my optician right now, 'cause I need me some of those amazing jumping skills.
Interview With Tom at TV Guide
Thu February 2nd 2006 @ 4:22PM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
I wasn't initially going to post about this, since the "interview" is really just a bunch of quotes from when Tom appeared at the TV Critics Winter Press Tour a few weeks ago. Still, all Tom is good Tom, I suppose, and I'm already really good at typing pointless drivel. So here's the link to an article about 'Reckoning' at TV Guide Online.
Yes, Tom, when an actor dies on a TV show they're not really dead. Unless something goes horribly wrong on set. How many more times will this particular bunch of quotes be repeated before I throw a hissy fit?
Thanks to Dee and Veronique for the link.
'Cyborg' and 'Vengeance' Episode Stills
Thu February 2nd 2006 @ 11:33AM - James - Tom Welling - 0 Comments
In addition to releasing one still featuring Tom Welling from the February 16th episode of Smallville, entitled 'Cyborg', Warner Bros. has also released six more stills from tonight's new episode, 'Vengeance'.
You can view the lonely, solitary picture from 'Cyborg' by clicking this link; there's also another image from the episode, which doesn't feature Tom, that you can find over on KryptonSite. The six new stills from 'Vengeance' are available right here. Lana, you'd better not be antagonising the poor alien!
Two More Seasons?
Thu February 2nd 2006 @ 3:37AM - James - Tom Welling - 5 Comments
Over at Hollywood North Report, interesting things are afoot. In an article about 'Reckoning' by Robert Falconer, there are two things that caught this Tom Welling fan's eye:
Firstly, Tom was singled out as turning in a particularly heartfelt performance. That's good, but if I do say so myself, it's stating the obvious! Perhaps more interesting (though as yet unconfirmed elsewhere) is a note at the end of the article, which states that "[Smallville] was recently approved for two more seasons."
I won't be overly surprised if that's the case, but this is the first time I've seen it in writing. I won't start the celebratory party just yet.
Vote Tom!
Wed February 1st 2006 @ 4:36AM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
I don't usually care much about these little online polls, as generally win, lose or draw, they mean nothing whatsoever. But it's been slow around here for the last few days, so this otherwise insignificant poll from Star Magazine may help get things moving a little. if you can't see the poll on that page – I couldn't, if it helps any – you might want to try going directly to it. Tom only has 2.3% of the votes at the moment (travesty!), but oddly, there's another poll on there which is virtually identical.
I say identical. Identical in every way except that it appears to have been running for a little longer than this one. And Tom has 11.3% of the vote. So hey, why not vote on this one, too?
