Tom Gets 'Exposed'
Mon October 31st 2005 @ 5:52AM - James - Tom Welling - 1 Comment
Oops, that title may read a little differently to how it was intended. Errr ... in a new article at Zap2it about this week's episode of Smallville (featuring a guest appearance by John Schneider's Dukes of Hazzard co-star, Tom Wopat, for those who aren't keeping track), Tom – Welling ... this could get confusing really fast – discusses how much fun it was to be on set with the two old friends:
Tom also mentions that he used to watch the show all the time when he was growing up, though he does note that he had to catch some of the earlier episodes when they were rebroadcast in syndication: "John's going to hate me for saying this, but they began that show the year I was born.""They were like two kids in a candy store, being together. You could tell that a lot of the old gags came up again."
I think Tom's rounding up again: first he said that The Fog, a movie made in 1979, was made the year he was born; now a series that started in 1979 also began the year he was born. Tom? You were born in 1977; you really can't stay 26 forever. Movies that fit the profile are Star Wars, Annie Hall, and the original Fun With Dick And Jane ... though I won't be cruel enough to point out why that's relevant.
And it seems I wasn't the only one getting confused by having two TW's to talk about. Phew. Weight off my shoulders.
Thanks to Boogalou for the link to the interview!

I'd be fine with him staying 26 forever ... or even 24 for that matter.
