On Tuesday, December 23rd (technically the early hours of Wednesday, December 24th), Tom's interview with Carson Daly – which was recorded on Wednesday, December 17th – aired on the late night NBC show Last Call With Carson Daly. Tom's in-depth discussion with Carson was wide-ranging, with Tom speaking about everything from his years as a model and his roles in Smallville and Cheaper By The Dozen, to the rumours that he may star in the Superman movie that is currently in pre-production.

On Monday, December 22nd, Tom completed the press tour for Cheaper By The Dozen by appearing on three shows throughout the day. In the morning a very sleepy-looking Tom spoke briefly on the ABC breakfast show Good Morning America, joking about out-takes from the movie involving himself and his on-screen mother, Bonnie Hunt. Later that same morning he was interviewed for the second time on The View, discussing what he would be doing over the Christmas holiday, before making his third appearance on MTV's Total Request Live that evening.

To kick-off a week-long press tour for Cheaper By The Dozen, Tom made his second appearance on Live With Regis And Kelly on Tuesday, December 16th, 2003. Tom spoke about the premiere of the movie that had taken place two days earlier, and also gave a few anecdotes about his time on the set with Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt.

Last night Tom was accompanied by his wife, Jamie, to the World Premiere of Cheaper By The Dozen at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
Also in attendance for the premiere were a number of members of Tom's family, along with his movie co-stars Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Hilary Duff, Piper Perabo, Jacob Smith, Alyson Stoner, Kevin G. Schmidt, Morgan York, Forrest Landis, Liliana Mumy, Blake Woodruff, and Brent and Shane Kinsman.

Following a few weeks of confusion, the scheduled release date for Cheaper By The Dozen in the United Kingdom has finally been confirmed by Twentieth Century Fox as Friday, February 13th, 2004. In addition, the UK tagline has also now been released for the movie:
